The Bell Lab has active research projects in the following areas related to 1) The roles post-translational modifications play in SIKE Structure and Function, 2) the roles non covalent interactions play in Malate Dehydrogenase Structure and Function. 3) Allosteric Regulation of Glutamate Dehydrogenase, 4) Mechanisms of Catalysis and Regulation of 3 Phosphoglycerate Dehydrogenase, and 5) Mechanism of Folding, and of Thiol Protease Inhibition by Cystatins and Related Structures. Each area contains links to the scientific background to these projects and information about the genetic constructs we have developed and use and to recent publications and presentations and students and collaborators currently working with us. If you are interested in joining a project area and either working in or collaborating with the Bell Lab contact Ellis Bell, molecularlifescience@gmail.com
